Privacy policy

On czechdesigner.cz I only process personal data to the extent necessary to reply to your message. Below you can see exactly what happens with it.

Who processes the data

The data controller is Lukáš Zeman. For anything related to your personal data, write to me at phpsetup@gmail.com.

What data and why

  • Contact form: first name, last name, e-mail and the text of your message. I only use them to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss a possible collaboration. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Spam protection: when the form is sent, your IP address and technical browser data are briefly processed to detect automated bots. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running the website securely.
  • Running the website: the hosting service routinely logs technical data (IP address, browser type, time of access) for security and operational purposes.

I don't use the data for marketing, I don't sell it and I don't share it with anyone other than listed below.

How long I keep it

I keep messages from the form in my mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, at most 2 years from our last communication. If we start working together, I keep the data for as long as the contract and the law require.

Who has access to the data

The website relies on these services (processors):

  • Vercel Inc. – website hosting
  • Resend – delivering form messages to my mailbox
  • Google (Gmail) – the mailbox where messages arrive
  • Cloudflare, Inc. – spam protection for the form (Turnstile)

These services may also process data outside the European Union, especially in the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Cookies

The website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Your browser only stores your choice of light or dark mode, so you don't have to set it again on your next visit.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to your data and a copy of it,
  • request correction of inaccurate data,
  • request erasure of your data or restriction of its processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • data portability,
  • lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz) or with the supervisory authority in your country.

Just write to phpsetup@gmail.com. I'll reply without undue delay, within one month at the latest.
